How Does the Weapon Overheat System Work?
Your cannon is powerful, but not limitless. Every shot you fire generates heat, which is displayed on a meter at the bottom of the screen.
If you fire too rapidly, the meter will fill up completely, causing your weapon to overheat and shut down for a crucial few seconds.
This forces you to be strategic with your shots. You can't just hold down the fire button. You need to use controlled bursts, picking your targets carefully to allow the weapon time to cool down between waves.

Surviving Waves of Asteroids
The threat isn't static. Asteroids come in various sizes and speeds. While the larger ones are slow-moving targets, they often shatter into multiple smaller, faster fragments when hit. This can quickly fill the screen with dozens of projectiles heading straight for Earth.
As you survive longer, the waves become more intense. The number of asteroids increases, their velocity picks up, and you'll have less time to react.
You must prioritize threats, deciding whether to take out a large rock before it splits or clear out a cluster of smaller, more immediate dangers.

They are slower targets and eliminating them prevents them from shattering into multiple, harder-to-hit fragments. Aim Ahead of Targets - Asteroids are moving, so lead your shots. Aim for where the asteroid will be, not where it currently is, especially for the faster ones.
Control the Fragments - When a large asteroid breaks, try to pick off the fragments methodically instead of spraying shots wildly. This helps conserve heat. Stay Centered - Most asteroids are aimed at the planet in the center.
