You don't want to be caught with an empty clip when a new group appears. Diversify Search Parties - While finding new weapons is tempting, don't forget to search for other survivors. A larger group means more defenders and faster repairs to your barricade.
Use the Right Tool - Switch weapons based on the situation. Use rifles for long-range targets and swap to shotguns or pistols when the zombies get close. Prioritize Threats - Some zombies are faster or tougher than others.
Learn to identify the biggest threats in a wave and take them out first before they can overwhelm you.
