On your turn, you roll the dice and advance that number of spaces. If you land on a special square, its effect is triggered immediately. This could mean moving forward, moving backward, or losing a turn.
To win, you must land exactly on square 63. If your dice roll is higher than the number of spaces needed, your pawn will move to 63 and then bounce backward for the remaining number of moves.
Game Tips
Know the Geese - Landing on a Goose square (e.g., 5, 9, 14) lets you move again by the same amount you just rolled. These are your best chances for big advances.
Aim for the Bridge - Square 6, the Bridge, is a fantastic early-game shortcut that jumps you directly to square 12.
Avoid the Inn - The Inn at square 19 will cause you to lose a turn, giving your opponents a free move to get ahead.
Beware the Traps - The Well (31) and Prison (52) will hold you in place until another player passes or lands on them, which can be a huge setback.
